Dr. Daniel Demesh, MD

I had a horrible experience with this doctor and his office. He did a procedure without informing me of it -- I just thought what he was doing was a standard part of an office visit -- billed insurance 800 bucks, which then left me with an unexpected bill of $300. This doctor also has a terrible bedside manner -- sees you for two minutes, and doesn't explain anything; I was left leaving his office without any understanding of what my condition was. The office staff have even worse bedside manner -- incredibly rude. This doctor is clearly doing unnecessary procedures, without telling the patient, so he can make money by overbilling insurance companies and patients. Avoid him, his office staff, and Summit Health like the plague.

Dr. Demesh should retire. He is the worst physician I have ever been to besides Dr. Jasleen Singh at CityMD NOHO, who referred me to him. Zero compassion, zero bedside manner. Did not even exam me. Dismissed my problem. Charged $500 dollars for zero work or help. Turns out my issue was in an adjacent location to where I thought it was, but I'm a patient and did not know this. Had he bothered to ask questions and exam me, he may have been able to help and save me $750 that I threw out of the window from this visit and the visit with Dr. Singh. If your problem is not something obvious or common, you should avoid him at all costs. If this review prevents only one person from wasting their time with him, it would be worth it.
