Very thorough evaluation and a clear explanation of my condition. Comforting to have attention to my questions and concerns.

Dr. Dixon was very informative and after listening to my concerns he explained his recommendation for my situation. Suggested I go home, read the paperwork and think about it. The visit was quick but very helpful.

Was very welcoming. Answered all my questions about surgery. Calmed any anxiety I had and reassured me they had performed these surgeries many times. Great bed side mannerisms.

I feel that Dr. Dixon did an excellent job on my 2 level fusion. I’m 5 months out and my back feels very good. I still have some nerve pain in my ankle and foot but I think that may be because I waiting so long. I had a previous fusion 14 years ago and didn’t have the same good experience or outcome as I did with Dr. Dixon. He also has an extremely great nurse, Brandi who stayed in contact with me so I never felt deserted. If I had any questions or potential problems she was ALWAYS on it! Thank you to your entire team. I went to 5 surgeons before making a decision on who I would get the best outcome from and I feel very fortunate that I went with him.

Follow up check up, great doctor and responds to questions asked without hesitation. His staff responds quickly with phone call matters.

Dr. Dixon a very good spine surgeon

I didn't really like hearing that there is no point doing anything until my arms don't work right. Especially from the person that can't seem to fix the part of my spine that makes my legs not work right. And if physical therapy is giving me problems with my other leg, don't tell me to keep doing it and just wait until my next appointment. Waiting until things get worse, just makes things worse. My care wasn't personalized based on the problems I'm having. I dont know if it's because im on workmans comp, or because no one cares. Every doctor visit seemed rushed and poorly explained. All my concerns were brushed off. Im tired and I hate being stuck like this.

Drs and staff were personable in all steps of my appointment. Dr. was kind and attentive as well as thorough in extra testing, explanation of diagnosis and providing information . I personally appreciated the advice to further examine suggestions given and weigh the discussion on my own time before making finial commitmit.FINALLY a Dr who considers my input .Thank you

I saw Dr Dixon to get a second opinion. After his caring and comprehensive evaluation of my X-rays and MRI’s he spent way more time than I expected. Explaining what options I had and what he recommended. He was very patient and understanding, kindly answering all of our questions. Although I don’t live in Missoula, I may be changing my doctor and surgeon. On top of the excellent care he gave, a member of his team called me the next day to see if I had further questions and to let me know they had already contacted my insurance company to get approval for the surgery. I have been waiting on my local doctor to contact the insurance company for over three weeks with no results.
