Dr. Daniel Mark Downs, MD

Saw him years ago. He was rude, condescending and not a good physician whatsoever. Went to other specialists and even got second opinions. Come to find out, I had to have surgeries due to his misdiagnosis. He passed in 2023 and so no other patients have to go through what he put prior patients through. Glad he's gone.

Has been sued more than once for negligence. Lost his spinal surgery license and fled to NY. Now I guess he is in WY. Hmmm.

He will accuse you of be in just a drug addict and then kick you out of his clinic because Cause when you're in need of help he'll try to help you make you go to all kinds of pain and will not help you with it at all And just call you a drug addict and kick you out

Dr. Downs botched my mother's surgery and crippled her for life. He severed a major artery and in an attempt to stop her bleeding he severely damaged the nerves in both her legs and knees. We've been to see four different specialists since he 'moved' and each of them have been astounded about the amount of damage, and have all agreed that there is no fixing the damage caused. My mother went in for a herniated disc, she came out disabled and now lives in constant pain. I suggest finding yourself a different surgeon. According to the lawyers we contacted, my mother wasn't the first. The hospital fired him after the surgery. See at your own risk.

Absolutely a great doctor. He gave his personal cell, which is unheard of. He treated me with the utmost respect, and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

You will NEVER have the opportunity to have the slightest opinion on the course of my care... Time to retire... One star, as there is no lower rating.

Received a diagnosis of "sprained joint". He was unfriendly and I had to wait for hours to see him. At my follow-up he denied the first diagnosis and told me there was nothing wrong and charged me $200 cash! Six months later I am still in pain. Apparently I have over $100 credit with his office but they won't give me a refund and keep refusing to see me after I make an appointment! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT HIS OFFICE.

Misdiagnosed. Had a labral tear inside my hip that caused it to pop and lock up and could not walk correctly. Diagnosed me with just a snapping hip (muscle problem) and I was exaggerating the problem. After suffering for numerous months with this condition, I went to two other orthopaedic surgeons who were shocked at the very incorrect diagnosis. The surgery hepled, but I was informed from the first incorrect diagnosis, it caused some irreperable damage. I researched this physician after the misdiagnosis and found that he has moved from numerous other hospitals which should be a red flag.

in my opinon this man is a quack.i had to have another surgery to repair the damage he done.and will be disabled for life because of him.he should have never became a doctor and should be fired and out on the street!
