Dr. Daniel Leite Cardoso Fortes

Dr. Fortes is a "Doctor's Doctor" and recommended to me highly by my pulmonologist and other doctors. He was caring, informative and on top of all things medical. Would highly recommend to anyone needing serious surgery.

Dr. Fortes was surprisingly patient about ensuring that I was well informed about the options and listened to my concerns more than I have come to expect of a surgeon. It's unclear yet whether my condition is operable, but I've been told by a nurse in the field that he has excellent outcomes & is very highly regarded, so I'm in the somewhat weird position of hoping for the surgery (as opposed to chemo + radiation).

After my first surgery in round rock I went home for a week and a half I feel more sick instead of getting better and I cough up blood I went back to the nearest hospital and they suggested to transfer me to Austin for a higher level care which is I met dr fortes he came and told me the following day I need to go for another surgery to clear my lungs and get me better so we did that after surgery I feel much better but my only concern is that I wish I could see you more often during my stay cause I do have questions about my surgery that I need answers other then that I’m at home healing till My follow up appointment

Doctor Fortes took over from my two other surgeons and fixed my problem nearly 100%. I was very happy with Dr. Fortes, not only with his surgical capabilities, but with his after-care; he is always courteous, interested in what you have to say and truly cares about his patients. I would highly recommend him without reservation.

Meeting Dr. Fortes eased my nerves because he is very caring, took time to listen to me and was very knowledgeable. He took his time with me and went over everything into full detail. I woulddefinitely recommend him and this practice!

Dr. Fortes is a wonderful doctor. He takes time and speaks with you and is very caring and answered all my questions. (And i had plenty of questions) He has EXCELLENT bed side manners. Actually his other 2 partners are excellent as well. When he was not available I was able to see them in the office. As for the staff, the front desk staff was very kind and courteous and they were extremely professional. Making my appointment was a breeze because the people who answered my call were so nice and helpful in getting me in as soon as possible. I would definitely recommend this office and Dr. Fortes.
