Dr. Daniel B. Geelan, DMD
Dr. Geelan’s interest in dentistry began as a child and took hold in college following the repair of his own teeth which had been injured through multiple sports related injuries. He personally realized the difference that the dental profession could have once his own smile was finally restored and he has committed himself to making sure others could benefit as he has. Dr. Geelan is a distinguished graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He completed a General Practice Residency through the Veterans Administration Hospital in West Haven in affiliation with the Yale University School of Medicine and the Hospital of St. Raphael. Dr. Geelan joined the Avon Dental Group in 1993 and is pleased to be part of a group that continues to strive for excellence. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Connecticut Dental Association, Hartford Dental Society, and is a …certified Invisalign provider. He volunteers his time to multiple community service projects locally and especially enjoys coaching his childrens’ baseball and soccer teams. He also actively participates with various international dental mission projects. Dr. Geelan resides in Canton with his wife and four children and looks forward to taking care of your families’ dental needs.
