I guess if you want pills, go to Golightly. All you have to do is tell him what you want and he'll give it to you. Even when he knows you're an addict trying to get clean.

I watched my daughter tell DR. G about her heroin addiction and about her anxiety. I watched him ask her what happened to her last huge script of xanex and she told him she ate them (excessively) which is why she was back in 2 weeks rather than the month she was supplied for. He wrote her ANOTHER script for an additional 45 pills. Thanks Doc, she is now shooting up again because she got a little two lost in the xanex fog. Wonder what would have happened if you had spent just a couple more minutes listening to her and perhaps prescribe Ridgeview instead of sending her on her marry way with a fresh batch of candy?

This doctor cares about people and will help you slowly- not drasticly. He's a good man.

I would highly recommend Dr. Golightly to any patient in need of help dealing with addiction. I am a young man with a serious addiction problem. My insurance company covered Dr. Golightly. However, I went to his office expecting to see someone who could of cared less if I got help or recovered. I was thrilled with Dr. Golightly. He seemed to want to help me. He encouraged me and told me exactly what I needed to do to start recovery. I recall telling my family this man is actually going to help me. I felt relieved for the first time in a long time. And, I am better able to fight the demons with the help of Dr. Golightly and staff.

Dr. Golightly has been a Godsend to me! I have a bone disease and have gone to pain management physicians that "throw massive amounts of medications" at the problem. Dr. Golightly does not do that. He assess the need for pain medications and based on his FORTY THREE YEARS of Addiction experience, prescribes the right amount and the right type of medications to me. I have for the first time in my life felt like a doctor is on my side and I would do NOTHING to mess up the relationship that I have established with him. I have been in the health care industry myself for 14 years and have seen doctors that are much less qualified prescribing much higher doses of much stronger medications. Dr. Golightly does not do that. Further, I have been in his office and overheard how he handles patients that ARE Abusing the system. He tells them NO!! He does NOT enable them!! The people that have written negatives about this doctor are NOT patients themselves. And, if they are living with addicts, they… obviously need to get some help for their own co-dependency. The person to blame for your loved ones addiction is your loved one. NOT the doctor trying to HELP them!! Further, I would wager a bet that your loved ones are most likely doctor shopping and that Dr Golightly is just the doctor that you KNOW ABOUT!!In my personal AND professional opinion, Dr. Golightly is A+++!!!

he prescribes MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF PILLS to people that are addicts! he doesn't treat them, he enables them. he should have his license revoked!
