Dr. Daniel Joseph Gordon, MD

Dr. Gordon saw my mother for the first time after she'd been in the hospital for 5 days. He spent about one minute with her, decided she needed to get up and get moving, although we tried to explain that she was in too much pain and too weak to even make it to the beside toilet w/out help. He denied my requests for further tests to diagnose the problem, but once i told him we were moving her, he then ordered those tests. We were still able to get her moved to a different hospital where they recognized she needed surgery right away. His lack of bedside manner could easily be overlooked if he were actually caring for the patient. Her condition would have been made much worse if she had done what he wanted.

Left hospital to head to his "bar" as quoted by nurse, upo my arrival from diagnostic testing. He had discharg papers already done with no results which I also was never informed of until I ended up back in the hospital a few day later with a GI block.
