He then pursued his medical degree at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, followed by a general surgery residency and internship at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. He has also completed a research fellowship in thoracic oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center followed by a Thoracic Surgery Fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Medical School.
