Excellent physician. Listens and advises. Takes time to make you feel comfortable.

I'm glad that I have Dr. Hampton looking after my medical needs. He keeps my medical condition under control and generously provides me with all of the related information that I like having (I'm a science/analytic kind of guy.) He's taking good care of my medical condition and I like the "partnership" feeling that I get with him.

Very thorough questioning about history with previous doctors before making recommendation - and pleasant personality as well.

I was understandably freaked out by some pretty icky lower GI symptoms and my primary care dr referred me to Dr. Hampton because given what was going on, she was a bit nervous to order a colonoscopy . Dr. Hampton was friendly and low key and he made sure I understood what he suspected the culprit was and that a colonoscopy would not bring on another episode. He actually performed the colonoscopy himself, which was a great relief! It was great not to have a stranger running me through that assembly line. The outcome was good in that there was nothing to be alarmed about and bad because I hated thinking this could recur at any time. Dr. Hampton assured me we would deal with whatever came down later and I am comfy knowing he's on my team.

Gastrointestinal issues are difficult/embarrassing to be seen about as it is. It took me years to go see someone as I was so embarrassed but it got to the point where I was so miserable, I didn’t have a choice. This doctor did nothing to help that. He treated me like I was stupid, he acted like I was making things up and that this wasn’t a big deal even though it is ruining my life. It was so bad that it took me 2 years before I could even consider seeing someone again. He did nothing to help figure out the problem or treat my symptoms. Absolutely awful experience.
