Dr. Daniel Brian Harris, MD

No dentist should ever ask a patient if they once shot up drugs in some ally in the past. No dentist should ever make a patient wait two hours and twenty-five minutes before the procedure. I was told Dr. Harris had to speak to me before the extraction especially since I'm taking the drug Forteo. He had a nurse call to tell me not to eat or drink twelve hours before the procedure. No dentist should ever come in not prepare about what he was getting ready to do. He had no idea I was to have an IV sedative. He tried to find a vein three times then gave up. He was anxious and in a hurry. That's when he asked me if I ever shot up drugs in allies before. I felt completely disrespected and degraded with him saying this and then ultimately giving up on the sedation. I was very upset and asked him to still try. He refused. Obviously I was not the first thing on his mind while coming in to extract my tooth. I still don't know what I was supposed to be told about taking Forteo and having this… procedure. I will not ever return to see this doctor even though I sincerely liked Dr. Phillips.

Very professional, friendly and courteous of major molar extraction and implant prep. Most of all, painless procedure and recovery. Great staff.

Dr. Harris is excellent. I had all four of my wisdom teeth (all impacted) removed and I was out of the office in less than an hour. He and the staff make you feel very comfortable. Without hesitation, I would refer anyone requiring oral surgery to Dr. Harris. You will be pleased with the service.

I have been there twice. The first was with Dr. Harris for wisdom teeth removal. Dr. Harris and is nurse were kind, efficient, and witty. The removal and its consequences were minimal. I turned down serious pain medicine without consequences and did not have to use the serious pain medicine that was prescribed. More recently, I had a tooth that appears to have been traumatized and needed to come out (not a happy event). This was my opportunity to meet Dr. Boos. He and his assistant did a great job. I am looking forward to going back to get an implant. They have this begun. The longest wait was 15 minutes. Other waits were none to 15 minutes. Definitely within normal limits.

I drove from Baton Rouge to see Dr. Harris for a tooth extraction. I was totally impressed with Dr. Harris as being most personable (fantastic personality) and second to none in professionalism. I would highly recommend his services to anyone.
