Dr. Daniel Paul Hearld, DO

Dr. Daniel Herald has been in the game too long. He needs to retire. His bedside manner is awful, he lacks empathy and compassion in the worst way. I've had the misfortune to be under his care twice now and each time he's taken the absolute minimum time to "evaluate" my situation. This last time is what's making me write this review. He states in his notes that he examined me personally and this is an absolute lie. I saw him stick his head in the door and he says "you'll get some x-rays" and he was gone. He didn't have the courtesy to even get his feet through the threshold or make eye contact. He inaccurately charted my complaint and made it out to sound like he did due diligence when he absolutely did not. The first time was a few years ago when I fractured my neck. He walked into the room that time but only to share a cold and dry "you neck is broken, the nurse will follow up" and walked out. Both visits to Metro Health ER I've gotten no discharge instructions which makes it… extremely difficult to discharge with any sort of comfort. Dr. Daniel Herald, do better or retire, please.

This doctor is a liar he don't care about his patients I went in the ER last night to get help he looked at me and just gave me Tylenol and sent me home after I explained to him how I felt and how I wasn't feeling good he didn't care he just talked over me he wasn't listened to as a patient was going through he do not need to be a doctor

I unfortunately was forced by personal Physician to go to the ER. Dr. Hearld, DO just happened to be my physician at this time. He was wonderful. He has a great attitude and bedside manner. He was very confident, clear, understanding and not condescending like I've ex many times in my 61 years of life. He put my trust back to Metro UofM back. I would really like to have Dr Hearld as a PC but unfortunately he is an ER Physician. Thank You for the great care. Debbie Mickel

I went into the ER he spent less then 5 minutes in my room and was incredibly rude most of the time. I ended up leaving the ER with a big bill and zero answers

Went to the ER after hitting my head causing concussion and pinched nerves in my neck causing finger mobility loss in left hand. When to the ER on advice of Nurse Advice Line where I had the unfortunate pleasure of getting this doctor. Arrogant, Arrogant, Arrogant. Three for the times I try to tell him what was wrong and him not listening to me. Misdiagnosed me completely thereby making this ER visit worthless.
