I have seen a lot of mental health professionals over several decades of dealing with depression and anxiety. Nothing ever seemed to help long-term. Dr. H has been the most caring, effective therapist I have ever worked with. I feel like I was living my life in a fog, but he has helped me learn to be more confident in myself, and more resilient in facing difficulties rather than avoiding them. I can?t recommend him highly enough.

I had the misfortune of crossing paths with this little $hit after being admitted to the OHSU ER room for severe abdominal pain (later attributed to IBS-C). Because Dr. Daniel Helfit-Hillfuker couldn't identify the problem, it was mistakenly assumed it was all in my head. The "solution" was to lock me up in a gray rubber room with no food or water and forcibly inject aka "tranquilize" me with unknown substances despite being a grown adult fully capable of swallowing pills. (Probably the same tranquilizer gun used on the chimpanzees down the hall.....) I was forcibly detained for 72 hours with a homeless person which did nothing to cure the IBS. OHSU charged me $7,000 USD for two (2)coloring book pages @$3,500 ea. and then proceeded to garnish my wages. It's been 12 years, but I have severe medical PTSD as a result of this traumatic experience. If you can't afford crayons or coloring books, love needles, involuntary injections, enjoy being treated like a criminal or animal, go… see Dr. Daniel Helfit-Hillfuker at OHSU. If you want to be treated as a human being and need legitimate medical attention and appropriate medication for IBS, go see Dr. Wang at the Oregon Clinic. #IBS #DanielHelfit-Hilliker, MD #ohsu #complaint #patientwarning

This Doctor’s arrogance and self-importance coupled with extremely poor judgement in prescribing potent medications make him a danger to society and an embarrassment to the medical profession....
