Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I decided to pursue a career in surgery for the love of caring for people in a tangible way; having seen care provided in a loving way in third world countries. What I want my patients to know about me:I want to know who you are, what you like and what you do, and what your needs are. I'm committed to compassionate care, excellent outcomes with as little pain as possible. I pursue this with minimally invasive techniques such as laparoscopy and robotic surgery whenever indicated. I'm proactive in minimizing pain with close and early followup and alternatives to narcotics when possible. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I love spending time with my immediate family and extended church life family. Outdoor activities such as motorcycling and hunting fill my free time.
