He's a liar. I have an AARP United Healthcare Medicare Advantage Plan. He has himself list on my insurance's website as accepting this insurance. But when I tried to schedule an appointment with him, I was told that he would see me because I was on Medicare! That, after waiting a week for him to decide he wouldn't take me as a patient before he ever saw me. He may have the education to be a good doctor, but it seems to me he is completely lacking in compassion for people when he arbitrarily decides to accept a patient because he doesn't think he can get paid enough for his services by the patient's insurance company!

Dr. Hickman always listens to what i have to say and spends a good amount of time going over options with you. The staff there are wonderful, always helpful.

Been a patient for 10+ years. If Dr. H cannot "fix it," he doesn't waste time. He doesn't hesitate referring you to a specialist if your need dictates. He is sensitive, caring, and has a great sense of humor. I feel very comfortable with the decisions he makes regarding my medical needs.
