Dr. Daniel Philip Hill, MD

Dr. Hill is always friendly, takes as much time as the PATIENT needs and has always given me the correct treatment.

I have unfortunately had the opportunity, because of the complexity of my health issues, to be passed through several other physicians in the Stillwater area. When I went in to do my initial consult with Dr. Hill my husband had already been a patient and I was impressed with his treatment but I was even more impressed when he told me he had no problem seeing me as a patient and tackling my issues. Regardless of whether Dr. Hill has told me things I didn't necessarily WANT to hear or not, he HAS told me things I NEEDED to hear. I love the fact that he is sincere and honest and does not sugar coat reality for me, in my opinion that's what every physician should do to get us to take our health seriously. I also do not believe his staff or himself to be rude in any way, they have a wonderful professional yet lighthearted dynamic to the atmosphere and yes they will tell a joke to make you smile, ask about your family and even greet you when they see you in public which I think is wonderful… and let's me know they see me as another human and a patient, not just another paycheck or statistic. I would and have recommended Dr. Hill to any and everyone I know looking for an EXCELLENT doctor.

I found Dr Hill to be a very concerned and interested in my life and medical issues. He explained issues with my diabetes that other doctors didn't bother to. I was very impressed in total.

This Dr. was kind of rude and not very sympathetic. I was referred to him from the Warren Clinic. When you ask a question he responds in a sarcastic way that I found rude at times. He also has an older nurse who acted like she had an attitude with him when he asked her to do a procedure over for me again. It was awkward and very unprofessional how they spoke to each other. Also, when the Dr. leaves the room, you can hear everything that the Dr. is saying to the nurses in the background even with the door shut. I was not too impressed. However, his receptionists at the front were very pleasant and cordial. Dr. Hill tried to get me to take a statin drug. He never offered a natural solution other than losing weight and to not eat beef. I didn't think my cholesterol was so bad to go on this drug which is very harmful to the body. My cholesterol was 240. His last words to me was, "I can only do preventative things for you - I can't keep you from dying!" After he told me this, I decided I… needed a second opinion and was not coming back EVER!!!!!!!

Was uncaring and rude, was angry because I choose not to have a local doctor and ran both myself and my primary care doctor down.
