Dr. Daniel C Jaffurs, MD

I am board certified and have been since 2011. I am also one of the few providers at the Children's Hospital that consistently gets 100% ratings from families and I won an award for having the highest overall provider satisfaction scores. While no one likes negative reviews, I always encourage my patients to ask questions and provide space for them to discuss their concerns. When I do see validated complaints, I ensure that steps are taken to mitigate any issues.

We went to him for a second opinion. After our original surgeon in the same group messed up the surgery. This quack said oh the palate might close by itself. What a horrible doctor who is more concerned about defending his coworker than for the welfare of our child. He's overconfident and LACKS BOARD CERTIFICATION.

I was referred to Dr. Jaffurs by another UCI doctor. UCI's website says he is board certified in plastic surgery but he isn't. I went on American Society of Plastic Surgeons and searched for his board certification. It doesn't exist. I saw him once and went to another (not at UCI) doctor who IS board certified in plastic surgery.

Dr. Jaffurs has been my daughter's plastic surgeon for three years for her Cleft damage. Not only is he a wonderful doctor but he takes the time to answer all of her and my questions not only with knowledge, but a lot of heart. My daughter could have never gone through these surgeries without trust. She loves Dr. Jaffurs and get's excited when it is time to go see him again even if it means she will be having another surgery. She has all of her trust in him. Dr. Jaffurs made her "beautiful" in her eyes. We owe him a LOT!
