Dr. Daniel H Kim

I met Dr. Kim at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto CA. He performe a fusion of S1 to L4 that was life changing. After 14 years I had disk failure at L3. I found Dr. kim in Houston and he performed a fusion of L3. This was a failure. I had had serious issues with this surgery and there is no connection to the previous fusion of S1 to L4. The quality of care has not been satisfactory and I now am going to Barrow Brain and Spine in Phoenix where Kr. Kakarla will remove the fusion of L3. I am very disappointed in Dr. Kim's work he performed on me at L3.

Dr. Kim gave me ten minutes of his time, before leaving to look at the MR imaging I had brought. He did not return to the room to explain anything, but sent a physician assistant in to say I needed to have an EMG test. It was a huge mistake to travel four hours to see this doctor.

I was so disappointed in my last visit. Dr. Kim only spent two min with me and turned me over to a pain specialist. He's done 2 surgeries on me and all he had to say was..."Usually my surgeries last longer than that." WOW!! Drove 13 hrs round trip for that! Then sent me a 800.00 bill! He doesn't have time for his patients anymore. Great surgeon but bad service and management. I ended up going to a Neurosurgeon in my state of La. and he did surgery immediately. His name is Dr. Philip McAlister in Houma, La if you want an excellent surgeon. He's actually better than Dr. Kim and I never thought I'd find one better. He's worth the trip and actually LISTENS to you! Sad day when doctors no longer take time to find your problem. Wasted trip and spent too much money.

Great experience. Did lower back surgery on my husband 7 years ago, and it went very well. This year, when I realized I needed surgery, on lower back, the only doctor I considered was Dr. Kim. Walked out of hospital with no pain in leg, and now, 3 months later, I can start playing golf and working out again. Would recommend him in a heartbeat!

Dr Kim and his fine staff are amazing! Prompt appointment times, courteous, caring, and very capable, I'm very grateful for the improvement in my symptoms.

I saw Dr. Kim after having severe sciatica pain. He is a great doctor and very professional. He helped me understand the condition and recommended performing microdiscectomy. It went very well. I was walking the same day and I went back to work after 4 days.

Dr. Daniel Kim is the best doctor I've ever had. He performed my surgery to remove herniated discs that had compressed my spinal cord. He gave me back my life and I would recommend him to anyone that's having spinal and back issues. Dr. Kim and his staff was very professional, caring and knowledgeable.

I had ACDF surgery in July. My experience was terrific from the day I met Dr. Kim. Dr. Kim has been thorough in explaining my condition and my options. I elected ACDF surgery. Today I live pain free!! Dr. Kim is an excellent surgeon and his staff is very skilled and personable.
