Dr. Daniel Abram Kinderlehrer, MD

Dr k. Has been my doctor for 2 years. He literally has saved my life. He is compassionate and understands what Lyme patients are going through. I am feeling so much better since starting with him.

I’m utterly shocked to see comments that are negative. He has been my doctor for 9 years, and has literally saved my life. He is exceptionally compassionate, intelligent, prompt and thoughtful. He is straight forward and explains things very well. Medical care is not cheap, and other physicians charge about the same amount. He truly cares about his patients and is a great doctor.

I started seeing Dr. K years ago, for Lyme. He is extremely thorough with his patients - this treatment is not something that can be done in 6 weeks or 10 weeks, for most people. More importantly, he does his best to treat patients at a speed that will still allow them to be functional during the process. He does make dietary recommendations that will help treatment move faster. He does recommend supportive therapies - some can be purchased in his office, some can be found online or in local healthfood stores. No, he does not take insurance. But my insurance company reimbursed most of the cost of seeing him, due to his documentation of my conditions and treatment cycles. Yes, it can take awhile to get in to see him, because there are so few doctors in this area that treat Lyme. The reason he has a waiting list is that his patients, when they do what he's asking for treatment, actually do get better. And yes, it can take time.

Dr. Kinderlehrer has a method of treating Lyme and co-infections. This method using Beyond Balance products and large doses of antibiotics works. I believe Dr. K. takes advantage of desperate patients, charging cash only. He has a strict regime to follow, which keeps costing more money. When the patient needs something, Dr. Kinderlehrer is uncommonly unresponsive.

Fabulous doctor! He saved my life. We need more like him! Definitely not out for money. I saw him for 4 years before he had to raise his prices and he is still more affordable than most. Knowledgeable, compassionate, integrative. Doesn't just give a pill. I've talked to him about diet, nutrition, essential oils, herbs and other things before resorting to medicine. Very open minded and willing to work with patients who want to try non-conventional methods for healing. Wonderful bedside manner in my opinion. Never had a bad visit, and look forward to each one as I come out encouraged, motivated and hopeful.

This is the only Dr over 50 yes who has helped me with being diagnosed and treated. for Lyme and Co infections

Charges a lot. Not a great doctor on any level. Gave me antibiotics that did knock back the infection, but he really has little skill in treating lyme disease and the coinfections. Has a nasty manner, condescening and angry. I would never refer anyone to him, nor see him again. Bad experience, very expensive. A trail of angry patients behind him. Makes poor patients have extra visits to make money, or just a bad doctor and doesn't know what he's doing. Run!

When you have Lyme you are desperate to find someone who understands. He is Lyme literate and a speaker of Lyme but exploits the desperate by not accepting insurance, raising his prices ridiculously high. There are other Drs that are Lyme literate and accept insurance in the Denver area. He is old school and wants to give you a pill for every abnormal lab test. He also may put you on steroids which is totally horrible for a Lyme patient and to top it all off he can be very judgmental and condescending if he doesn't like your lifestyle. To counter those who said he's just out for the money: when he diagnosed me, he did not make the assumption that he would be the Lyme-literate MD to treat me. He gave me names of other LLMDs as well. That sort of action doesn't come from someone who is just out for the money.

This good doctor is superb and does everything he can to help you get well. He works in a complex field and is a master of the science.
