Dr. Daniel Ron Kloster, MD

Dr Koster insisted on treatment with an epidural during my two visits with him. I have had 10+ previous epidurals with no success and clearly expressed that. I heard the Dr and nurse whispering before entering my exam room (I had complained about a nurse following my first visit and that was their discussion). His "explanation" of back pain and description of my condition was canned (I heard him say the exact same thing In a medical device presentation the next day). His explanation was delivered very rapidly. I am educated and fully capable of understanding my diagnosis. I was never given a chance for input or serious discussion regarding alternatives other that "HIS epidural" (his words not mine). Currently my main concerns are numbness of the R foot and RARE but repeated episodes of lumbar pain. I would be surprised if the numbness is mentioned in my record with Dr Kloster. The animosity occurred after a phone discussion with a nurse (Lori) at his office who was convinced… that I was seeking drugs due to my cancellation of Dr. Kloster's epidural. I am 66 years old now and have spent nearly 15 years receiving treatment and researching my back issues. I will not return to Dr Kloster and, based on my experience with Kloster will not return to Menorah for treatment of any new issues.

horrible experience. The first time I met him he seemed to be in a big rush, talked about the spinal stimulator but I didn't want to do anything that extreme yet. After trying various medications that didn't work and had bad side effects, I was ready to try it. The nurse told me they would get they request to the insurance company and it would probably take a month before they approved it. I waited a month and finally called the insurance company. Dr Kloster's staff had never sent anything to the insurance company!!! He has a business office that takes care of that but when I call them, they never answer the phone and they never return my calls. I had to call the clinic and bug the nurse there to get the request filed, which took another week. The insurance co promptly denied it. The nurse said Dr Kloster would send in appeal, 3 weeks later, nothing. I wasted 6 months with this doctor, his business office is unhelpful, they don't care about patients, go elsewhere!

I was a very nervous patient. Epidural was a breeze! Dr. Talked me through every step and reassured me. Staff is delightful. Highly recommend. Elderly family member is also a patient. Very satisfied.

Dr Kloster was my surgeon who implanted my spinal cord stimulator three years ago. I have had 80-90% pain relief. He is excellent.

Repeated attempts by hospital staff to Dr Klosters office went without reply regarding a patient admitted with possible stroke. His assistance was to be available and needed with some urgency. Ultimately 24 hours later no one from office arrived to perform procedure required before an important diagnostic test and patient was unable to get assessment of possible stroke.

Was headed for disability instead I am back to work - after 17 yrs of chronic pain and dozens of drs he is the first one to help me like no one else! Love him like no one else!!

I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. As other doctors would refuse to help my pain and let me suffer, dr kloster got me on the right medication to help me live my everyday life. Now that I have my disease under control and I feel better dr kloster has gotten me off the meds and I feel great. He truly saved my life.

DR. Kloster is a very good DR. with a amazing bedside manner. I would highly recommend him!

I have not had good experience with the MD, he was abrupt, told me I needed spinal injections. I was dealing with severe pain, went to a different doctor and learned that I had fractured a disc at C6-7, required emergency surgery. After surgery, NO pain.

Took my husband to visit Dr. Kloster after working with 2 other reputable pain clinics in KC. He was very sure of himself... which I was thankful for! I want my husband's doctors to know what they're doing and be confident about it! He took the time to sit and visit with us and explain our options. He expained everything in a manner that we could understand and was even helpful in scheduling our next appointment to work with our other appointments! The staff was lighthearted and knowledgable as well. We feel that we are in excellent hands.
