Dr. Daniel Alexander Laheru, MD

It depends. As a researcher he made be very good. As a clinical representative, they don't come worse I don't think. They should take him out of clinical meetings with patients.

Dan has kept me alive for over 7 years.His insightful comments, focus,and insights are particularly helpful to me.He is truly a compassionate human.I am relieved of al Medical anxiety's I have great confidence in his judgement.

We came from out of the country to see him, but he instead had a fellow see us everytime and the fellow did a horrible job and never knew anything, but he wouldn't know unless we demanded to see him.

After a bad experience, we requested Dr Laheru after soliciting recommendations from the Johns Hopkins discussion board. We hoped and prayed that he would say "yes." We feel so lucky as we see now what a difference it makes to have a responsive, caring, and skilled physician directing my Mom's care. We sleep more peacefully at night. He continues to amaza and impress.

Dr. Laheru is simply one of the best doctors you can have for the treatment of pancreatic cancer. My mother was diagnosed with Stage IV PC and initially went to an oncologist near her home. The treatments were horrible and she was close to giving up due to the severe side effects. We were worried that she wouldn't continue with the chemo. Somehow and with luck we found Dr. Laheru and it is like night and day. She has very little side effects from the chemo combo that he has her on aside from the usual weakness shortly after treatment. We thank God for everything Dr. Laheru has been able to do for her and her nurse, Ella-Mae is also a Godsend. She's so compassionate, upbeat and energetic. We highly recommend Dr. Laheru and his dedicated staff. They are true professionals!

I went to Dr. Laheru because I had read that he is one of the top PC doctors in the U.S. I agree.I have stage 4 PC- a very aggressive cancer that has a survival rate of 1%. I've been alive over 3 years thanks in large part to Dr. Laheru's advice and willingness to be aggressive. My local oncologist seems to feel there's little hope for me. But Dr. Laheru is always offering new suggestions of chemo, trials, surgical procedures, etc. He has been wonderful with my husband and children too. Always takes his time, listens to us and gets back to us quickly when we have questions. I couldn't be happier!

My husband who had pancreatic cancer had slow progression. Following being injected by whatever this guy uses, his cancer markers jumped from 250 to 3000 in 3 weeks and he was dead in 6 weeks. He paid no attention to him and his nurse Beth is the worst!! Totally apathetic towards the patient. It's all about the trial dollars to this guy.

Our experience with DR Laheru has been nothing but increadable. He is knowledgeable,caring, positive, and we have never been rushed.He is so devoted and enthusiatic about what he does. We have highly recommended him to friends and any one who asks for help because of our experience with this dreaded disease.
