Dr. Daniel C Lazowick

Last year I went to my Family Dr due to shortness of breath,fatigue and chest pain. He ordered blood tests & XRay. I called the Dr 10 days later when I had not received any results. It was obvious he was looking at the results for the first time and did not have any going forward plans. I called Dr Dan( based on family recommendations) and asked if he would be my Dr. Wow what a difference. I was no longer alone in battling my illness. Dr Dan ordered tests and the next day reviewed results with me and next step plan. It turned out that I had all the symptoms of Lymphoma that could not be confirmed by 3 different biopsies. As result Dr Dan coordinated visits with specialists to determine if it was some other disease. He discussed my case with each specialist before and after my visit and reviewed the findings and going forward plan with me. Finally a 4th Biopsy revealed that I had Stage 3 Lymphoma. I just finished 3 months of Chemo. A recent Pet Scan showed no Lymphoma. I really… believe that if I had not switched to Dr Dan, I would have floundered around in a no ownership system until I had advanced stage 4 Lymphoma. Thank you Dr Dan Lazowick (MDVIP)

Dr. Lazowick is one of the best physicians I have encountered over my long (81) year life. He is not only compassionate, relatable, and ever-ready with a smile to speak with me, but an excellent diagnostician. I trust him completely and always look forward to our meetings. His office is like he is: warm and efficient. Hopefully, he will continue to be my physician over the next best years of my life. In gratitude. Dr. Lazowick is awesome !

I switched PCPs which now requires that I drive quite a distance from my home to Dr. Lazowick's office. It is well worth it. I'm very happy that I made the change as I was looking for a PCP that took the time to listen to my point of view on health matters and take actions I thought were appropriate. I have a medical background myself and I couldn't be more impressed. I would recommend Dr. Lazowick and his office staff to anyone looking for quality care.

Since Dr Lazowick was named a "top doc" in the mainline area, his practice has become huge. I will give him the benefit of the doubt as to that being the reason his care has diminished so drastically. I would NEVER recommend him. On my health progress notes, he made several glaring errors...as if he didn't even listen to me at my visit. He also no longer follows up after I have had an emergency hospital visit to see if I am okay. Finally, he told one of my treating specialists that he thought I was just a "typical, hysterical female" when discussing my health care and put in writing that he recommended I look into a therapeutic amputation....like that would ever be an acceptable suggestion for joint pain management.

I've had 6 or 7 PCPs in my life (32 yo), two being DOs. Dr. Lazowick and his staff were courtous, efficient and quite helpful. Right down to the nurse at the desk helping me through my AETNA billing issues and PCP change on the website. His bedside manner is comfortable, he asks great leading questions and is very professional. I would recommend him to any good friend or family who wants a good general practitioner who will listen, coordinate well with your other doctors and give you the service you desire.
