I had a wonderful experience in Dr. Lee's care. I was diagnosed with a vestibular schwannoma and within a few months I had an appointment for surgery to remove it. At the first initial appointment, he was very good at explaining all of my options and what would be best for me. He answered all of my questions and concerns clearly. Though a big decision, I felt confident with the choice to go forward with surgery. Surgery went amazing and he was able to remove the entire tumor. Within two days I was back home recovering! Post surgery he and his team have been very responsive to my questions. I would highly recommend Dr. Lee! He is an amazing doctor and I am very grateful to have found him.

I could write pages and pages on how grateful I am for Dr. Lee’s expertise and the positive impact it had on my son’s life, but I think this review will be most impactful if I break it down into high level bullets: • My son’s hearing loss in his right ear went undiagnosed for a long time, we just treated his speech delay. After it was diagnosed, doctors in Maine said it could not be treated: one hearing aid would create an echo. The doctor worked with the school to help make my son as successful as possible by sitting him in the front of the classroom, etc. • I heard about Dr. Lee at a social event and made an appointment with him immediately. The reason behind my son’s hearing loss was unknown and Dr. Lee performed an exploratory surgery. • During the surgery, it was discovered that my son was missing a tiny bone in his middle ear. Dr. Lee gave him a stapes implant. This is a very uncommon finding in children – and as I write this review, Dr. Lee was the first to complete the… successful implant. The success story is my son. • Result: My son’s hearing has continued to improve since the surgery. His grades went from average to straight As and his athletic ability went from better than average to spectacular; both a result from being able to understand his teachers and coaches. This year, my son started attending a top Alpine Ski Boarding School on an extremely generous scholarship. This all happened because of Dr. Lee; my son and I are forever grateful. Like I said, there is more to the story – but if you want to see a true expert for your child, I cannot recommend Dr. Lee enough. The impact of his work has literally been life changing.

My son is 12 month old, diagnosed with a rare congenital Cochlear anomaly! Even though the Cochlear implant surgery for this kind of anomaly is hard; Dr. Lee took care of my son and the surgery went great! Dr. Lee gave us updates over the phone while he performs the surgery, which I really appreciate! Intra and Post op Cochlear nerve tests are excellent because of the perfect position of the Cochlear implant electrode! Definitely I recommend Dr. lee for any kind of pediatric congenital Cochlear anomaly!

He did an amazing job fixing my hearing problem. Prior to seeing him, I had lost all hope and accepted that an infection had permanently damaged my hearing and that my current hearing was going to be the new normalcy. It was a long surgery, but he was able to fix a complicated issue and now I am hearing much better these days. He and his whole staff were extremely courteous, helpful, they explained every detail and answered every question I had from the very first visit, the day of the surgery, and every follow up visit. I found Dr. Lee to be the perfect doctor for my Cochlear implantation. Because I don’t fit the normal criteria for implantation, I had an impossible time finding a west coast doctor who would step-up and get insurance to cover this procedure for me. Dr. Lee did this for me and I could not be happier. I found him to be everything I would want in a doctor. He listened to me; he heard me; he was kind and generous with his time. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Lee.

People have to decide for themselves what's most important in a doctor; i.e., their bedside manner, their timeliness, their education, their experience, their associates, etc. While I only had one 15-20-minute visit with Dr. Lee prior to my surgery, my primary concern was his experience and what he can do with his two hands. He could not have been more comforting, enthusiastic, caring, fun and supportive for my cochlear implant surgery three days ago. Most important, everything went beautifully with not one iota of pain or discomfort. Dr. Lee came by after the procedure to let me know how things went, and he and his office followed up with me again today. I feel like the luckiest woman in the world to have Dr. Lee on my team of professionals who will be gifting me with the blessing of improved hearing. If you're doctor "shopping," look no further. You'll be in the best of hands.

Pathetic, simply hard to believe behavior from a person who obviously went into the medical profession for money and ego. Lee should take a step back, take time off and read about being a doctor dedicated to healing NOT irritating a complex problem.

Dr. Daniel Lee and his staff were nothing less than fantastic! Dr. Lee took the time to fully explain and show what he needed to do to correct my inner ear issue. Thus, he earned my trust from the start. My experience with Mass Eye & Ear pre/post op surgical/nursing staff was outstanding as well. All in all, I would highly recommend Dr. Lee.

After going to many ENT’s, Dr. Lee was recommended to me. My first appointment he diagnosed me with a CSF (Cerebrospinal fluid) leak and a hole in my ear drum. He explained the condition and answered all my questions. I scheduled the surgery and Dr. Lee and his team performed the operation with out any complications. Dr. Lee is competent, caring and professional. He has given me my life back again. Thank you so much Dr. Lee!
