Dr. Daniel Philip Logan, MD

I was an involuntary patient of Dr. Logan for 7 months in 2009. I acquired PTSD as a direct result of his treatment that has lasted 6 years (confirmed by multiple professionals, including Florida Recovery Center staff). Dr. Logan routinely swore at me, called me a liar, and falsified evidence related to my stay. Furthermore, despite having no evidence of a long history of addiction, and having been provided with detailed reports of my mental illness, he maintained that 12 step addiction treatment was somehow an adequate treatment of bipolar disorder, requiring a 7 month stay at the corrupt, abusive, money-hungry syndicate he works for. He has a complete lack of insight, compassion or self-doubt, and rather uses patients to feed his own narcissistic belief in a god-like power to divine his patients past, present, and future actions based on nothing but his own assumptions. This man left me with irreparable harm. I used to believe that everyone was inherently good--and that the… hippocratic oath still stood as the standard of medicine. Daniel Logan destroyed my trust in people. A complete detailing of the verbal and emotional abuse I experienced under the "care" of this man would require far more than the space provided on this website. Logan may seem friendly enough at first glance--he appears jovial and intelligent. However, bear in mind that he will fabricate evidence should you be unlucky enough to find yourself under his care, that could lead to your involuntary incarceration at the Florida Recovery Center. Avoid!!!
