Dr. Daniel Kent Madsen, DO

From day one, I came to him with a list of my symptoms, trying to figure out my diagnosis after years of heartache. He didn't understand any of it. I was able to get my diagnosis elsewhere. I thought nothing of it. He was helpful in other regions, but with women's health - he is VERY uneducated for it. He says very problematic and offensive things toward women with miscarriages. He misdiagnosed me with carpal tunnel as "a guess" on what was wrong instead of referring me to an EMG promptly. He Over the years, he started to take me less seriously and because I have anxiety on my records, he looked down on me with that. He treats his male patients and older patients better despite them having issues while I'm trying my best. He shoves religion down your throat when it has nothing to do with diagnosis. (I was having repeated episodes of severe panic attacks after my third miscarriage.) Asks me if I wanted to go to hell two weeks after my third loss just because I was afraid of dying.… There's no reason for me to be afraid? I have so much to do! I kept shoving my feelings aside, pushing them down to keep giving him the benefit of the doubt. After EIGHT YEARS of on and of medical gaslighting, I'm closing the door on Madsen and never returning. He's just not for me. Extra: During COVID pandemic, he didn't take masks seriously and belittles people who still wear masks for having a bad immune system.

Curtious, compassionate & thorough. Can't ask for better than that.
