Dr. Daniel Malone JR., MD

Have been a patient of Dr. Malone since 1988. He was new to the HPN program. Have been with him ever since and would not see another doctor or spcialist without his opinion.

I had a horrible experience with this MD. He was very rude, quick to get me out of the room and only looked at me once, and that was to assess that I was a liar. I told him that I had concerns with anxiety and that colleagues have noted that I may have ADHD, so I was planning to get it checked out, along with anything else that may be wrong with me. His reaction to this was that I only wanted the medication. This made me feel awful, as it was something I had discussed with my family and close friends about for the past few months. I almost cancelled my appointment with the psychiatrist because of how rude this man was. I would avoid him!

The office is busy. There is, however, a good number of seats in the waiting area. You won't feel forced to sit next to anyone unless it's a busier than normal period. I usually am taken to a room within 30 minutes of sign in. The staff are professional and courteous, which is to say they can range from impersonal but not to the point of rudeness, to smiling but not over-friendly. Dr Malone I judge to be competent, knowledgeable, and professional. Information is not freely and abundantly given, unless asked for; so if information is what you seek, come prepared with lots of questions. I would favorably compare him with other doctors I have known over the course of my life. I also can say I do not have any qualms about taking any problem I may have to him.
