Dr. Daniel James Margolin, MD

I was brought into the office in extreme pain due to an anal fistula. I was brought back to the room not knowing what was going to happen I could hardly walk or stand. I was told to lay down on my stomach on the table. Neither the doctor or the nurse that was there were hardly speaking two words to me. He proceeded to attempt to numb my rectum which did not work at all I felt every cut and everything he was doing. I kept screaming pounding on the table telling them to stop I want to reschedule I don't want to be awake through this kind of procedure they continued to go and I kept telling him I felt everything .I thought I was going to pass out from the pain. I now suffer from PTSD from this visit. I do not understand where the Compassion or understanding went on the visit that day.

Very informative & easy to talk to

I could not recommend a better surgeon. My experience with a very complicated surgery was outstanding.

My minor surgical experience with Dr. Margolin and his staff was a positive experience. His nurse and attending resident were excellent they both showed me so much compassion, kindness and knowledge. With my brief encounter with Dr. Margolin I found him to be professional, knowledgeable, positive and kind.

I would not recommend Dr Margolin, he spoke down to me as if I were an uneducated simpleton who did not understand anything. I have a college degree and a masters in Health care administration. The manner in which he spoke to me is mind boggling. His bed side manners were awful and he did not give me the opportunity to even fully explain what was bothering me. His demeanor was horrible and I feel bad for anyone who has to work with him. I personally saw him yelling at a nurse. Just horrible.
