I can’t speak for the doctor, but the office staff is an absolute mess. My first attempt to schedule an appointment went nowhere — the person I spoke with said they’d check if they accepted my insurance and get back to me. They never did. Months later, I tried again. This time, they took all my husband’s information, we got the referral ready, and everything seemed set. Then, two days before the appointment, Laura called to say my office visit would cost $317 because of my deductible. I explained that my deductible is only $100. The staff member told me to confirm with my insurance and warned that if I didn’t cancel before 5 PM, I’d be charged a non-negotiable late cancellation fee — even though this billing issue was their mistake. I called my insurance, confirmed I was right, and when I called the office back, I was told, “Oh yes, we’re out of network. That’s why it’s $317.” When I asked who made the appointment, the person (Cesar) said, “I don’t know.” I told him it was Anthony,… and he casually replied, “Oh ok, yes — he was incorrect.” That’s it. No apology. No accountability. I waited two months for this appointment and only found out two days beforehand that it wasn’t covered. Then I was threatened with a cancellation fee due to their error. If this doctor is truly good, they need to seriously evaluate their staff — because the office gives them a terrible reputation.
