Dr. Daniel Lawrence Mayer, MD

First off I want to start off by saying how absolutely amazing Dr. M and his staff are. My son who has a newly diagnosis of an Egg Allergy was seen and what a great experience. Coming into the appointment I had many questions but everything was addressed and gone over in great detail. I was nervous but after leaving that day I felt like I had a better handle of my sons allergy, although still worried, just in case my son was to ingest something when I was not around. The nursing staff were amazing when going over how to properly administer the Epi-pen and left with tons of literature . The also told me if I forgot to ask anything I was more than welcome to call them up and they would get back to me if they were not available at that moment. Of course I did and within a couple of minutes the nurses got back to me and answered my "silly" question. Overall my experience was great.

Dr. Mayer's office is by far the best allergist I have ever been to. My daughter had GI issues for years and no one was able to pin point the reason and since we have seen Dr.M my daughter is a whole new person. Not one doctor thought to test for food allergies (her pediatrician and GI doctor, dermatologist also). My daughter came up allergies to diary products. The office and staff were absolutely amazing! The nurses took their time to educate me and answer all questions that I had. Dr. Mayer took his time with us and really went through everything that I needed to do from here on out. The receptionist made the whole making appointment process so wonderful, was not put on hold once like at other offices. They were able to fit me in when it was good for me. I was welcomed at the window when I was signing in only had to wait for about half hour which is expected at a specialist, thought we were going to have to wait there a lot longer. I can not say enough about this office,… I can go on forever. I 100% recommend this office.

A few months ago, my child had a severe allergic reaction and I scheduled an appt with Dr. Mayer. When we arrived, I was underwhelmed by the office environment and level of professionalism from the staff. More importantly, Dr. Mayer seemed a bit distracted and not very confident in his diagnosis. In fact, when we arrived at the hospital following our visit, the ER doctor stated that Dr. Mayer disclosed in the paperwork that my son was anaflactic which was not the case at all. The ER doctor and his pediatrician were baffled.... In addition, I left behind a sweatshirt at Dr. Mayer's office and when I went back to pick it up, the office manager rudely informed me that they no longer have it and proceeded to speak very condescendingly to me in front of other patients. I would not recommend this practice....

I highly approve of this dr and his staff. Friendly dr who does what you ask and his office staff was very efficient!!!! Great office.

I haven't seen Dr. Mayer in a while, but only because he has done such a good job healing me! He's a great doctor and his staff is consistently pleasant and nice. He spends the time explaining everything to his patients (diagnoses and medications, etc.) and when I went, he always used to tell me jokes that were funny if only because they weren't funny at all. Great doctor, great experience, highly recommend!
