Dr. Daniel Enoch Mcbrayer JR., MD

From beginning to end, I was taken care of with kindness and caring staff. From The first phone call from his assistant Shelly, the check in staff, Dr. McBrayer and physical therapy. He took care of my shoulder issue and I am feeling great. Dr. McBrayer and his staff are a great team.

I can attest to the accuracy of the review "Shelley’s lack of response." Dr. Mcbrayer does not appear to be incompetent but he is consistently UNAVAILABLE. This is pure speculation but his unavailability could be because of his secretary Shelley. There have been multiple instances in which I tried to get into contact with Dr. Mcbrayer but was UNSUCCESSFUL approximately 75% of the time. Fayetteville Orthopedics, in my experience, requires all patients to initially talk to the secretaries of their respective doctors. Critical thinking leads me to believe the following: ANY AND ALL MATTERS FOR DR. MCBRAYER + SHELLEY = UNAVAILABLE

Shelley, Dr McBreyer’s assistant is so busy helping Dr McBreyer that she doesn’t have time to return a phone call requesting an appointment to see Dr McBreyer. She never answers the phone and one must leave a message. After three attempts to get an appointment, and allowing 7-8 business days between each call, which totaled nearly 6 weeks of waiting, I felt forced to seek treatment elsewhere. The shame of it was that I had seen Dr McBreyer a year prior and my husband had received treatment numerous times and was very pleased with Dr McBreyer’s professionalism and his care. I don’t consider myself to be a difficult patient. Actually, I think I am quite meek, reserved and attempt to be a good patient. I was very disappointed in the lack of respect and consideration that was provided. I could only conclude that I was not seen because I am a Medicare patient. Thankfully, I was able to see another orthopedic surgeon in a timely manner and received the needed surgery quickly. My… surgery was successful and I was treated with dignity and respect by the new doctor.

Dr McBrayer was very rude, arrogant and zero skills with having a good bedside manner. I left his office in tears from the way he talked to me because he assumed I was seeking opinions from other doctors when I was not. Due to my injury being workers comp, I have informed my adjuster of what happened and that I wouldn't be returning. If I HAVE to go back to him, I will be returning with a parent. That's how rude he is.
