Dr. Daniel H Mcdowell

NOT WHAT THEY USED TO BE. I saw Dr. McDowell for over 20 years and he and his staff were always excellent. Sadly, in my last couple of visits, I found that the courtesy, professionalism and quality of work have suffered greatly. The last straw was when he fitted me with a poorly made partial. When I pointed out the obvious defects, he was clearly offended. In the end, he repaired one problem but rudely ignored the other two, which are still painful. Given his dismissive attitude, I gave up and left. The problems will be expensive to repair elsewhere. At my new dentist, I also found that two teeth with bad cavities had been overlooked--and needed extensive work.

I give him two stars instead of just one only because of my past experiences--I am disappointed to see how they are now.

My family and I have been patients for over 30 plus years with Dr. Dan and his amazing Staff. They are caring and so easy to work with. He gives the best shots when numbing your mouth, can't even feel it. I have the best looking teeth and thats all because of his excellent work. I have recommended him to friends and family for years. He is like Doctors use to be, with his caring and taking time for communicating, he has all the advanced technology in his office. We love him and his Staff and hope he never retires!!
