Dr. Daniel Timothy Mckenna, MD

He was my doctor of record for my hospitalization but couldn’t be bothered to see me on day of admission in spite of the fact that I was in ER before 8 AM and admitted before noon.

I was looking for a GI specialist in Indiana that had the ability to preform a certain type of surgery that most don't/can't do. I didn't know him before my procedures and was not referred to him as he was 2.5 hours south of where I lived and no one knew him. He and his staff were absolutely AMAZING. Dr. McKenna fully explained the procedure he would do, he had wonderful bedside manners, he was caring, intelligent and respectful. There is no reason for me to ever see another GI doctor, he's the best and I am so happy I found him!!

Let me start by saying I have no interest in rating this doctor. (that always concerns me when reading ratings). I did not know this doctor prior to my health issue. My first appointment with Dr. McKenna was a short wait and he fully explained the surgical procedure. Prior to and following surgery, he spent time with me again explaining the surgery (gall bladder removal. The doctor was personable, professional, and listened. I was out playing golf four days after my surgery (which the doctor did not recommend) and I have had no surgery complications and would highly recommend this surgeon.
