Started out with a red flag on surgery day. Was waiting several hours only to be informed he had overslept after just returning from vacation but was rushing in ASAP. Started to fear his state of mind if now "rushing". Had some ok results and some issues. Breast lift/implants ended up 2 sizes larger than requested with still some sagging, but really tried to keep positive and expectations realistic. Also, tummy tuck left looser than explained during consult, but definitely a vast improvement. Had some major scarring in portions that he tried to revise with no success. Again, not expecting perfection, but definitely encountered more than one significant issue. Can't help but wonder if I oversleeping and rushing had anything to do with it even if unintentionally.

The surgery was good, but their follow up advice was inaccurate caused long-term pain and damage.

I've been getting Botox for quite some time from other people sometimes I would use my regular general practitioner who would do a share program with girls every 3 months and I thought it was expensive but it seemed to be okay at first and then I noticed it didn't seem to last or it didn't seem like it was enough which seems strange then I use the Groupon for a deal I seem to get the same amount as I got when I first started getting Botox and it was great then I noticed subsequent appointments it's the same thing happening wasn't lasting as long asking to do more each time. Then when I found Dr medalie for my other procedures I was having done which I will give a review in a different section also amazing I decided to go to him for my Botox. What a difference that's what I can say. Now I really know what it's supposed to look like when an actual plastic surgeon does your Botox. To use less units I have exactly the look I want without the creases between my eyes without the crow's feet… without having a Frozen face and I have a great lift to my eyebrows just amazing I couldn't be happier. Dog has a very great personality his staff is amazing they're always there for me anything I need or if I have questions I don't think I would be comfortable going to anybody else for anything else. And this is the first time the girls at the place I work at have seen my Botox and said take me with you next time. So other people have noticed a difference.

In 2010, I had lipo of my flanks, inner & outer thighs, and lower tummy. I also had rhinoplasty on my nose to narrow a wide bridge and this was done at the same time as the lipo. Dr. Medalie was kind and attentive in our consultation and I went with him based on that and his reputation. The liposuction went great and still looks fantastic 5 years later. I'm so glad I went for it! The rhinoplasty is another story; not terrible but not perfect. He did exactly what I wanted in terms of narrowing my bridge...no complaints there. However, I was left with a polly beak deformity that is quite unflattering. I've waited 5 years for all swelling to go down (not that it took that long...about a year for me) and I'm ready to get it fixed, which is scary. Revision Rhino is a tricky procedure b/c of scar tissue and I'm bummed. I've also moved from Cleveland to Alabama so I need to find a good doctor here. Anyway, I don't want to belittle Dr. Medalie's skills as a surgeon for noses or… anything else...I just want to share my story and hope it helps in your search for happiness.

I found Dr. Medalie through researching online and since I live out of town I booked the surgery before my consultation. If you are interested in labiaplasty I recommend watching the video on his website where he performs this. It's extremely hard to watch, but once I did I felt confident with Dr. Medalie's technique and was able to trust that he was the right doctor for me. I flew into Cleveland early mornig the day before the procedure and had my pre-op appointment. I was even further assured of my decision after talking with him and he walked me through the procedure and listened to any questions that I had and made me feel comfortable. He showed me photos of his work and explained what the recovery would be like. The next day I came back to the same office for the procedure. The nurse was so sweet and comforting and I loved her! The only part that hurt at all was when they injected local anesthetic, but the pain was very minimal and lasted only a few seconds. Total time was about… 1.5 hours. They played calming music the whole time and really made me feel comfortable. The post-op appointment is typically around 7-10 days later, but since I was out of town and only in the area for 1 week, I returned 5 days later. I am still very swollen and in early stages of recovery, but I had to write a review to say how great Dr. Medalie is and that I recommend him to anyone. So far, I am extremely happy with this process and my decision to go through with something I have wanted to do for many years. THANKS!!

I only have great things to say. D. M did my top and bottom surgeries. I have minimal scarring up top and my chest looks fantastic. He was very supportive and answered all of my questions. No complications. My bottom surgery- metoidoplasty/scrotumplasty/pelvic lift all went beautifully too. I am 41 and have been waiting a long time for these surgeries. I am ever so grateful to him.

A couple of months ago I had a breast augmentation and labiaplasty by Dr. Medalie. He is awesome and I am so happy that I had my surgery by him. He was the third plastic surgeon that I initially saw. The first two I saw were primarily for breast augmentation, though I did ask about labiaplasty. I got reasonable information from each doctor about augmentation and was shown options for implants and patient pictures. It is hard to describe, but I felt that both of them were rushing a bit through the consultation and had a fixed idea in their minds about what I needed. I think I would have probably still gone with one of them (because they were recommended by friends), but when I asked about labiaplasty, I got the feeling that neither of them had done very many labiaplasties. They both said that they could do it but neither one offered to show me patient photos, and when I asked one to show me some before and afters, he stated that patient confidentiality prevented him from showing me. I… am not sure I understand why because he did show me some before and after photos of breast implant patients.Anyway I went online and started researching plastic surgeons who did labiaplasty and breast enhancement and Dr. Medalies name popped up at the top. He has a really great website with a very artistic design with lots of pictures and excellent credentials. When I met him, the consultation was just awesome. He spent much more time with me than the other surgeons and showed me tons of patient photos. I really felt comfortable with him and that he was listening to what I wanted. It was also clear that he had done many more labiaplasties than the other surgeons that I talked to, and he was so confident and clear about the best procedure for me that I felt a lot less nervous about having an operation on such a sensitive area.I was pretty nervous the day of surgery and Dr. Medalie met me before the operation and clamed me down again with that easy going manner. The pain after the operation wasnt nearly as bad as I was expecting and the labiaplasty was literally a piece of cake. It was the best decision I ever made (I had wanted it since I was 15 years old). I also love my new breasts, though in retrospect maybe I could have gone a little bit bigger. To be fair he did mention that most patients prefer to go a little larger then smaller and I was a little scared of getting that unnatural look. I have 300 cc saline implants in now and was thinking that maybe in a couple of years Ill go a little larger and change to silicone.To sum everything up, I loved my experience with Dr. Medalie and I love my new body. I cant recommend him enough (his secretary, Valerie is super nice as well and really helped me plan everything). You cant go wrong having him as your surgeon.

Had peri-areolar with liposuction about a year ago. First of all, I did not find him or the staff welcoming or even considerate to my needs at all. Upon removing my compression vest to see my new chest for the first time I was less than thrilled. My left nipple was purple (which he said would regain the blood flow and be fine) well during the healing process it fell off leaving an open wound, which healed into a nasty scar. Also, 7 months after my surgery I still had a suture poking out of my chest, which he said would dissolve on its own after a week or so. Overall, it was not a great experience for me and I am very unsatisfied with my results.

I lost about 150 lbs several years ago and had skin hanging all over me. Dr. Medalie did a tummy tuck and breast lift and arm lift on me in one operation. I was worried that it was going to be too much, but he explained everything to me and kept me over night in the hospital. I did great and am so happy with my results. What impressed me about him was how professional he seemed and how much time he took to explain everything to me.i highly recommend him as a doc!

I had had a mastectomy for breast cancer several years ago and then radiation and chemotherapy. My right mastectomy site was ugly and flat.When I saw Dr. Medalie about breast reconstruction he spent around an hour with me explaining all of the different options for therapy. I decided to go with a latissimus (muscle from my side)and implant with another procedure to inject fat from my belly into parts of the left breast that were not covered by the muscle. I actually only needed to stay in the hospital 1 night and am frankly amazed at how good the result is (it has been a year and a half now). Throughout the process, Dr. Medalie was amazing. He was always available and really great at explaining all the steps in the process. His nurse, Andrea and his secretary, Valerie are also really nice and knowledgeable. You can't go wrong having Dr. Medalie as your surgeon!
