Dr. Merck is the kindest, most understanding doctor I have ever been to. I've had quite a few facet block injections and most recently a different injection which has enabled me to reduce strong medication from 4 to 1 a day! He's the best!!

Dr. Merck is a real class-act. I found him to be extremely pleasant and caring. He listened to all of my information and asked all the right questions. I was especially impressed with how nice and attentive is he is. I highly recommend Dr. Merck and am very pleased being his patient.

I have been a patient of Dr. Merck's for about two years. I feel I am very lucky to have found him and to be a patient. He is very kind and compassionate and actually cares that you are not feeling well and having problems. Dr. Merck listens to you and does not try and run out of the room as fast as possible like so many doctors. I recommend him to friends and strangers alike and will continue to do so.

I had a pretty good doctor before meeting Dr Merck who was with the same practice. When he left. Saw Dr Merck and I can't say enough good about him. Thought the best had just left, but Dr Merck's empathy is beyond the norm. When you speak he is facing you and not doing other things such as writing or speaking in a machine. He has an actual concerned look in his expressions. Totally an unexpected response that I have never received from any doctor let alone a pain specialist. He makes you feel completely comfortable telling him exactly how you feel. He never makes you feel insignificant or that your pain is nothing compared to others. He simply is the BEST! He isn't a push over and I would not want a doctor like that. So anyone truly in pain can expect the best!

I started seeing Dr Merck a few months ago after the "quack" I had been seeing there previously to him coming on board. He was able to reduce the amount of medication I was taking and really gave me my life back.The "other doctor" that use to be there has his own practice now somewhere in Bradenton.....I will stay here where I am happy.

I saw Dr. Merck only one time when my doctor wasn't in. I was in great pain and he was extremely compassionate and ask me what he could do to help. I was already on a pain pump at the time and he had to give me break thru pain medicine. My condition is not back pain, but neuropathic and cannot be controlled by surgery or needles. I wish it could. I was really surprised by his kindness and would recommend him to anyone. But as I said before I saw him only one time.
