I went in for some fillings and left in a great deal of pain. After four days the pain had not only gotten worse but my jaw was locked shut! I reached out to the office several times and was told to take Tylenol and wait it out. At no point did Dr. Mergen have me come back in to see what was going on. Finally after almost three weeks of pain and eating through a straw, he prescribed an antibiotic over the phone for the obvious infection that he would have caught sooner if he'd done any follow up care and that took care of the pain. For the next three and a half months he continued to ignore me as I lived on a liquid diet. Finally got in with an oral surgeon and had to pay out of pocket for surgery to repair the damage to my jaw. Dr. Bergen was rough and negligent. I would never go back.
