Daniel Metzinger, MD

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Metzinger. He was abrupt and cold with me. He brought up his degrees and belittled my education when I asked questions about my cancer. When I asked if it was possible to keep my ovaries he snapped at me pretty harshly, offended that I questioned his recommendation. For me, it was not about questioning him. I had just been told I had cancer. I was scared and just wanted to know if I had any hope. He told me, "You are bleeding cancer out of your vagina." It was rough. The biggest concern for me in retrospect is that he left town for a trip during the middle of my surgery and did not observe the resident operating on me. He did not tell me beforehand this would happen, or communicate with me at all after surgery until my follow up. The physician who rounded the next morning informed me that Dr. Metzinger had not been there for most of it. Up until that time he said that he would be performing my surgery. I would not have consented to the surgery… if I had known he was leaving me. He cured my cancer, and for that I am forever grateful. The rest of my experience was degrading and made me feel like I had no voice in what was happening to me. Cancer is already terrifying, there's no need to be impatient or unkind.

Dr. Metzinger is an excellent physician. He is good at answering questions regarding treatment, what to expect in the future and giving you accurate and up to date information on your case.

Dr. Metzinger and his staff has been awesome to work with this past 4-1/2 years and I highly recommend.

Dr. Metzinger has no people skills. Never visited before or even after surgery. Only two weeks later. With a telehealth call.

I absolutely love Dr. Metzinger and Judy. They are very educated about my illness. I feel like they really care about my family and me. I would recommend them to anyone in my situation. Dr. Metzinger is a stand up guy who is meticulous with his work.

Great Doctor!!!

This was best telehealth call I have had because team took time to listen to me and answer all my questions. Doctor also stayed on call and answered my questions. In the past he usually only stays a couple minutes and leaves.
