Dr. Daniel Miller

I just had cancer removed from my upper left lobe a few days ago. Dr. Miller and his staff are excellent! He and his PA have called me multiple times on the phone. They are always thorough and never rush. I don’t know many doctors like that. His bedside manner is the best. TOP NOTCH and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Dr Miller did a procedure on me for a condition that I never had. Now I need extensive surgery to fix his mess. Come to fine out he has been dismissed from multiple hospitals. Please do your research and reach out to former patients through Pectus social media groups.

Has a very pleasant manor. Excellent surgeon.

Defiantly would recommend Dr. Miller. He is a life savor. My husband would not be here today if it was not for him. He is by far the best in his field. Great with patients and family.

If it wasn't for Dr. Miller my husband would still be in horrible pain. My husband's 12th rib was dislocated in a automobile accident. He had under went back surgery to repair some disc in his back (also from the accident) before the doctor found the dislocated rib. That doctor then sent my husband to a cardiothoracic surgery where we live. That doctor tried to help and was not succesful. He then referred us to Dr. Miller at Emory (4 hours from home). Dr. Miller was straight to the point and told us that he would prefer that we would try pain management first because the surgery because it was so invasive. That we did and it did not work. So surgery was the last and only other option. Four weeks after surgery my husband was back to full duty as a mechanic and back to his normal routine. I will always be thankful for Dr. Miller. Without him my husband would still be in pain and missing out on so much with our daughter.

Dr. Miller along with his staff are awsome!!! He answered all of my questions, made me very comfortable entrusting my health and surgery with him.

My husband had his surgery at Emory and had multiple complications with respiratory problems and infection. Ended up in ICU on ventilator 3-4 times. He developed every infection you can get in the hosp and we stayed over a month at Emory. He passed away 3 mos after his surgery, never returning home. He died from complications of surgery, not cancer. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. Go to MD Anderson or Duke to have surgery for esophageal cancer, not Emory!
