Dr. Daniel Muller, MD

Very short appointment. Nurse was biased regarding vaccination philosophy.

I had a very positive expetience with Dr. Muller. He answered my questions and spent quite a bit of time with me. He gets back to me in a very timely manner through the portal. I don't know about these previous bad reviews, but I believe he is a really good doc. I am a retired RN which he doesn't know and have worked with some real beauties in my career. He gets down to business. I'm all for that !!

I read a LOT of bad reviews on this doctor and was tempted to not go to the appointment. The good part is that the receptionist and medical assistant were awesome and super friendly. Dr Muller seemed to listen to me carefully and did an exam. He quickly diagnosed what I knew I had for a long time, fibromyalgia and multiple areas of osteoarthritis that had already been treated or diagnosed from other doctors. Basically, he said there wasn't a lot to be done for it. I know this is true from my own research. I guess I thought he was ok, but left feeling very sad as there were no answers. Perhaps if someone has one of the more 'treatable' diseases, they would get more answers?

I would give 0 stars to Dr. Muller if possible. I went into my appointment with a positive attitude, hoping that I had found a caring and helpful rheumatologist in my area to add to my amazing team of other doctors in different specialties. Dr. Muller made it clear in his manner that he did not care about my present concerns and questions, and did not take me seriously. He said that there was no reason for me to return for a followup, and needless to say, I completely agree. It would have been a great relief to find a good rheumatologist in my area, but I would strongly recommend going elsewhere if you want to find a compassionate provider who shows interest in trying to help in a constructive way. I have had an extensive and complicated health history over the past 22 years, have been cared for by providers in many different specialties, and therefore have learned to evaluate the competency, professionalism, and care that are crucial to a doctor-patient relationship. Dr. Muller did… not bring the most basic amount of sensitivity or interest in helping with my care, and said at the end of the appointment that he was going to throw me back to my primary care physician. He was dismissive of my concerns, insensitive in his overall manner, and uninterested in allowing me to speak - interrupting me and saying there was no reason for any follow-up or evaluations. After making it clear that he did not believe I had severe pain, or any real health issues (despite the obviously unread documents that I provided beforehand to facilitate our visit), he told me to read a book and "exercise, exercise, exercise." He asked me if I had any questions twice after this, and I replied that I did not, as it was obvious he did not actually care if I had any questions, and I did not want to prolong the useless and upsetting appointment. I waited over 30 minutes, and he barely spent 10 minutes. I would not have taken the time to write a review, as I have taken more time and care in writing it than Dr. Muller did for our appointment, but I hope to prevent other patients from having the upsetting experience that I did, and wasting their time and money.

This doctor does not care about the root of a problem. He is a know it all who likes to tell you to go home a read a self help book and when your real real sick come back and see him and more then likely he will tell you to go and see someone else. waste of time.

Like the other reviewers - I was told that my referral to him was nonsense despite my positive bloodwork. Please, if you are brushed away by this doctor, get a second opinion. I was properly diagnosed a month after my initial appointment with him and am now in much better health. My new doctor told me that they have had many other patients with the same experience. What a waste of time and money.

This "doctor" conducted a non-exam, refused to answer my questions after having my appointment rescheduled from morning to late afternoon so he could "spend more time with (me) in light of the fact the first blood panel came up positive for lupus and the second negative," according to the office staff. He didn't address my symptoms, interrupted me when I answered him when he asked "What's going on NOW?" and wouldn't allow me to question him as to why he tried to diagnose me with a nonsense condition with one symptom when I had multiple symptoms that couldn't be accounted for in the diagnosis he wanted to give me, simply because it was a diagnosis commonly given to women when doctors want to say 'It 's all in your head, honey, get out of my office." I have stepped in better horse biscuits and it was time better spent than being demeaned by this donkey. I wouldn't take my dog to see this fool. He is a misogynist, plain and simple, and I will not stand for being treated that way.… He didn't appreciate it when I pointed out that he had just told me "It's all in my head? Really? That's your answer?" He stormed out. I laughed! Touchy, touchy! P. Lynn Taylor, unashamedly still standing in my strength.

I went to see Dr. Muller. After waiting for an hour in the examination room with my wife he popped in.He spent 10 minutes with me and instead of discussing what we should do about my rheumatoid arthritis, he told me what we were going to do. He gave me no options. He said he refused to prescribe what my previous doctor precribed because it happened to be an oppioid. I am not an addict, but need pain medicine as I have severe rheumatoid arthritis. I ended up having to go to an pain management clinic that prescribes me my oppioids. I never went back and don't plan to. This doctor does not work with the patient for the best treatment options.

What was most memorable? His response, "I am impressed with how aggressive your disease is behaving." Not very comforting at all. I also received an improperly given Kenalog injection which left a golf ball size indentation, permanent deformity, in my hip. His response? "Sorry. We don't usually administer those injections at this clinic. Perhaps you could meditate and visualize it going away." This doctor would not accept nor even look at literature I brought in on a drug I was interested in trying. Nor would he write a prescription for it. He provided minimal information and care, giving me no understanding of what the RA was doing to my body.
