Dr. Daniel Alan Nash, MD

Dr. Nash is probably the best primary care physician I have ever had. He was my only PCP at the VA CBOC beginning in 2016. He has always been thorough and answered my questions in an understanding manner. He stuck it out during staffing upheavals and during the pandemic being the only PCP at the clinic and never lost his professionalism. I will miss him as my PCP.

Not a Veteran friendly provider. Harbors antisocial and narcissistic characteristics and is uncomfortable practicing medicine in the VA environment. No prior military experience and introverted personality blunts his capacity to relate to his patient. Poor follow-up and relies heavily on staff and in his elderly age does not respect the modern medical standard of practice by integrating individualized care taking patient values and needs into consideration to improve access to care. Unfortunately here's resistant to change and fails to deliver where a compassionate and bright provider would excel. As a result I would not recommend this provider for anything more than a routine or mechanistic service. The retirement plan for VA medical providers is not new nor novel.

I needed an ENT and fast. I wondered why it was so easy to get in then, I found out. Yes, he is a big boy and daunting but then there is medicine which is why you went-to discover the source of pain. He attended to my pain, and hurt me even worse. His bedside is course and harsh-all about numbers ...get em in and out fast. In the end I will not return because he is rough.

Asking a question or expressing a concern via internet messaging gets very prompt and meaningful responses. He is dedicated and an ultra professional. As well, when his name comes up in conversations, he gets great marks from others!
