Dr. Daniel Geoffrey Nolan

Meet Daniel G. Nolan, DDS
Dr. Daniel G. Nolan was born in Bakersfield, California. He attended Brigham Young University (BYU), and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry. He went on to the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) where he enjoyed his studies at their renown Dental School very much. After graduation he was anxious to start his own practice, and bought a small private practice in Yucca Valley, CA. He met his lovely wife there and they now have four children. In 1985 they moved to Bakersfield, then a thriving little town of 375,000, where they lived for 25 years. A consummate learner, he furthered his knowledge of dentistry and oral surgery and became proficient in the many facets of dentistry: diagnosis and treatment planning, implant placement and restoration, crowns and bridges, dentures, TMJ disorder, Invisalignâ„¢ braces, and cosmetic dentistry.
He was twice voted Best Dentist in Bakersfield by the Bakersfield Californian readers' poll, and once voted …Outstanding Dentist. Honored and humbled, he is grateful for the awards, but also has the utmost respect for his peers.
Dr. Nolan moved to Lincoln, California in 2010 after their children had grown and left home. The air quality in Bakersfield had become so bad it was making them ill, so he ventured north to the foothills of the Sierra Mountains. He bought the Charles Dental Group practice, whose patients are pleased with the transition. He has updated the dental office, modernized and added many improvements such as digital x-rays with computers in every exam room for immediate viewing of the x-rays, new exam chairs, dental laser, and paperless tracking and scheduling software.
Intimately concerned with the rising costs of dental care, Dr. Nolan promptly lowered fees 20 percent across the board upon opening for business. He believes that everyone deserves top quality dental care at affordable prices. In fact he uses the same materials for implants that typically cost from $1,200 - $1,600… and only charges his clients $950. His patients love him, and several travel from Bakersfield and Merced to see him.
He bought a home in Lincoln, and is very happy to be a part of the community. He sponsored the Yankees little league team and two girls softball teams, the T-ball team Purple Pixies and a 10 and under team Rockstars.
Dr. Nolan also enjoys participating community activities, mentoring younger dentists, cycling, landscaping, gardening, grandkids, serving as a Boy Scout Leader and service in his church.
