Dr. Daniel Howard Nolan, MD

I told Dr. Nolan that I wanted to stop using the pain patch I had been on for 6 years and asked him the best way to do that. He told me I should just stop it and "ride it out" (the withdrawal symptoms). Both the CDC and the manufacturer of the patch strongly advise against this. They recommend a gradual tapering of dose, particularly after long-term use. Clearly Dr. Nolan doesn't know what he's doing when it comes to long term pain medication and the physical dependency it causes.

I was referred to Dr. Nolan for a pain pump consultation. The appointment went fairly well. It's how I was treated afterwards. I had to have a psych eval which is pretty routine for this and have it faxed in. I was told I'd hear back from them not after it gets looked at. Everytime I called I was told they hadn't received it. I decided I'd make sure they got it. So, I hand delivered it & was told they already had it. Finally, I called back after getting no calls & was told, "I wasn't a fit for the pump." I asked for some further explanation & the person said, "The Dr didn't state any other reason." There was NO attempt at correspondence by this office. My psychiatrist & referring PM Dr saw this & were both dumbfounded. I'm actally thankful that things didn't work out with Dr Nolan, because I would've never found my current PM Dr if you would've placed the pump. My PM Dr is so caring & compassionate. I can thank you for this experience. If I call their office I get a return call. My… mother always told me when one door closes another one opens. I'd also like to say everything in this post is consistent with what actually happened & isn't being posted erroneously. Afterall, I'm anonymous.

Doesn’t do what he says he is going to do. We were told the office has a hard time keeping help. I was billed for two urine test’s within five months. Both negative’ When he didn’t receive The pay rate he agreed to at first, he then tried to bill me directly...Office is a disaster as they never return calls. Nolan always gives you this rather off-putting look that doesn’t reflect well. Very uncomfortable. On my last visit, we waited approximately an hour to be seen. I suggest Summit Pain Managment and specifically, Dr. Roth. A very professional office that is extremely efficient.

Dr Nolan has given very good care to me for my problems. I highly recommend him

Was seen at the office for a while got my medicine filled went to Fort Wayne my medicine got stole out of my vehicle how to please report and even surveillance machine person taking it I brought it to the office and showed Dr Nolan gave it to him came in for my next visit they did a pee test it came back negative of course because I didn't have my medicine and he dropped me as a patient because it wasn't in my system even though I had a police report thought that was unfair and rude I could understand being mad if I had other things in my system but I have nothing in my system I still got kicked out of the practice just don't understand

Staff works hard to get approvals for procedures and medications with all the insurance hassles that are now part of everything. They always try to help. Dr. Nolan is a great doctor! He has done so much to help me with my pain with treatments that reduce my pain and have changed my life for the better! Call this office today!

My experience with Dr Nolen was horrible. He has unperfessional staff and nurses that were difficult to reach and would not return calls. He would not return calls to other physicians that were trying to get information for a surgery he performed that was infected.

Office staff is horrible. Never return calls voicemail always say closed at this time...even when trying to contact at 10:00 AM on Tuesday. Also says “please dial” when prompted by the message service. Um, we haven’t “Dialed” a phone number in over 20 years.

I have been seeing Dr Nolan for over 2 years now for pain control due to bone marrow cancer. Dr Nolan was first involved in doing successful Kyphoplasty on 3 different vertebral bodies for immedicate pain relief and was involved in my eventual diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma through biopsy results. His thoroughness and bedside manner are second to none. As a medical professional and patient, I would highly recommend Dr Nolan to any of my family and friends for his medical expertise and quality of care he provides all of his patients.

Dr. Nolan is very caring and I am so thankful to God that I found him.
