First time I visited to Dr. Novella. Physical exam. Every year one time it is free in my insurance BCBSM. Before I appoint, I make sure every thing. They said you physical is free of charge, but I received Huge bill after one month , he use diagnose code for billing instead of physical code. I went to talk about my bill issue. He make another bill for $150. I paid more than $500 without any reason. Staff is rude too. Nobody give the proper reply. I have very bad experience with this doctor. I never recommend to any body this doctor.

Dr. Novella is certified by Cornell in plant-based nutrition and is interested in prevention of disease. I am vegan and follow a plant-based lifestyle. Even though I am fairly well educated in this lifestyle, Dr. Novella pinpointed some actions I can take to achieve optimal health. I am so grateful to have found a doctor who believes in wellness.

Dr. Novella diagnosed me with high blood pressure and diabetes. He prescribes medications ut does not follow up with me so I follow up with him and he seems to not have the answers to my questions. His front staff is not helpful at all because they seem to not know anything so I have to wait for them to ask the dr., except the fat red head that acts like she owns the practice and has the answers to everything. She makes this experience worse.
