This place is a mill. Run you through with out care or concern for your well being. He doesn’t listen or read the chart. It is all about the money here. I would not go back and I would not recommend him or his partners.

Dr O'Connor has been managing my sciatica with RFA and I just had my 3rd Ablation today. He helps me so much. Knowledgeable, kind, and thorough.

Professional organization, from the receptionist to Dr O’Connor, as well as the remaining staff. Doctor is caring, thorough and effective. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone. 5 star.

Dr. Daniel O'Connor is the godfather of Nicholas Scott, M.D., his partner at Arizona Pain Specialists. He left there and went to Innovative. He is strongly against the use of pain medication. This creates a problem because insurance doesn't approve things right away. He doesn't look at the chart and does unnecessary procedures (in my case two medial branch blocks that were not necessary since this is a test to see if the RFA or radiofrequency ablation will work). I provided him with everything. He uses Kenalog in the surgical center. Most doctors use Fentanyl, Versed and Profofol so that you are completely unconscious for this otherwise painful procedure. With other doctors I receive relief. I got no relief with him. In addition, he told me to fill his prescription the day he wrote it. I admit that I didn't tell him I had just filled one when I left another practice. He invalidated his prescription and called me a drug addict. I have considered a lawsuit against him but… would be papered by his attorneys.

Dr. O'Conner is amazing! He is so personable and has such a great staff at Innovative Pain & Wellness. I feel like I'm finally in capable hands to help manage my pain. I have had many surgeries and have dealt with many offices. This office is kind and thoughtful and a breath of fresh air! Thank you IP&W!

My experience with Dr. O'Connor has been excellent, so far! I have found him to be very caring, and he has laid out a clear plan for my pain management! We have gotten started quickly, and I am very pleased, both with the doctor and the office staff.

This Dr is such a fake, he pretends to care about the patient, when in fact all he cares about is the rating they get from the DEA! I know for a fact, that the DEA has someone portraying as a patient when they are just checking the place out.

Dr. O'Connor seems to have had a distinguished career as anesthesiologist at an outpatient surgical center. However, he has only been working in the area of managing long-term chronic pain for less than two years, and that includes his time in retraining. He is strongly against the use of opiates in pain management, and this comes out the moment he enters the room. He makes snap judgments without receiving patient records or conducting examinations, uses scare tactics about 'sudden death' from opiate use, and is determined to get patients off opiates as soon as possible, without being willing to lay out a plan of pain management to take their place. I don't know why he left anesthesiology, but a doctor who is so strongly anti-opiate with so little experience in treating chronic pain strikes me as someone with an agenda that puts his crusade before patient well-being. I get the sense he is sincerely concerned about opiate misuse, which is a good thing in a pain doc, but he just doesn't… have the background or approach that makes you feel he can see anything past the perils of opiates.

While Dr. O'Connor spent a lot of time discussing options, the follow up from his office was absolutely abysmal. Did not listen or respond in a timely manner when trying to book follow up diagnostic procedures, discourteous/dismissive -- totally at odds with experience in-office. We won't be going back.

Rude office staff. Uncaring physicians. I have never seen so many negative review for one practice.
