This practice lacks management. The front desk is perfunctory. The phone and computer systems need attention. This is obviously a large practice which just produces colonoscopies in abundance with little opportunity for interaction with the physician. Bureaucratic, medicine at its worst.

Very caring, professional staff at Charlottesville Gastroenterology Associates. They made the colonoscopy I had a very easy and stress free experience for me. Dr. Pambianco saw me afterwards and explained the results very clearly.

DO NOT GO TO THIS 'DOCTOR'. I was completely misdiagnosed; told I had colitis and I actually have colon cancer. Pambianco told me that my entire colon was fine...no polyps. It turns out that I had a cancerous polyp and I am going to the other group in town to get more removed. If I had not been so persistent with getting rechecked I never would have known. He spent no time with me and did not listen to any of my symptoms. He must have lied on his medical report because there is no way he visualized the entire colon, as he claimed.

I have been seeing Dr. Pambianco for quite a time. He used to be such a great doctor. However, as of late, he is uncaring and unconcerned about my health issues. I have decided not to go back to see him due to this. I'm not going to the doctor just for fun. I need help. Maybe he's just busy, but I hope he will come back and be the doctor he used to be. Extremely disappointed. I really thought highly of him.
