Dr. Daniel Kevin Peshka, DO

Dr. Peshka spent a fair amount of time discussing healthy diet and lifestyle with me, described the procedure thoroughly, answered my questions patiently and pleasantly. The procedures were a non-event, I would not have known I'd had anything done, no after-effects other than mild lingering of anesthetic. I was able to do a light workout when I got home, floor exercises and stretching, no problems. Still great a week later. I would send any of my loved-ones to him for these procedures.

My family doctor referred me for a colonoscopy & upper endoscopy. Despite unusual findings, Dr Peshka would not meet with me to discuss them, since I am not a regular patient in their practice. I would have to talk to a nurse practitioner or wait 3 months for a new patient appt. My old gastro across the state saw me the next week to explain the stomach lesions. Did not even respond to a letter asking to see him after procedure.

0 bedside manner. Abrupt and almost rude. Acts as though patients should not ask any questions, although current best practice is for patients to be well informed and take responsibility for their own care by asking questions. He has been abrasive on both inpatient and outpatient hospital encounters.

He will tell it like it is!! He probably won't win the personality contest, get to know him and he will!! Love you

Competent yet easily frustrated and abrasive. Horrible bedside manner but gets the job done. Office visits are nigh impossible to get but he is readily available for all procedures relating to his field. So what will it be, folks? Do you want your doc to be your buddy or a darn good mechanic who gets the job done?
