Incredibly generous with his time to patient and family, explaining difficult realities over and over again at an emotional time time when it’s difficult to absorb what one is being told. We couldn’t have asked for more attention, corrective Dx from previous treatment elsewhere, and listening to family and patient desire to keep trying.

Dr. Petrylak has been my oncologist for over 15 years. During this time he has counseled me on the sequencing and the timing of the numerous treatments available to prostate cancer patients. I feel his guidance has enabled me to maximize my quality and quantity of my life. Dr. Petrylak is a great doctor, I look forward to working with him for many years to come.

I have been battling with prostate cancer since 1998, and my Urologist suggested that I should see Dr Petrylak, of whom he had high regard. I made an appointment to go to New York Presbyterian and subsequently went along to Greenwich, CT where he is currently treating patients. Dr Petrylak’s staff and support team are available 24/7 when any problems, issues or questions arise regarding my health. Dr Petrylak is a very caring, highly qualified, well respected physician and in addition, a real Gentlemen who is not afraid to spend time with his patients, listening to and advising us in a most compassionate way...his wonderful "bedside manner" seems lacking these days with so many of his peers.Given Dr Petrylak's Professorship at Yale Medical School I am assured that he is current with all the latest medical news and techniques....He treated me for Prostate Cancer...which is now thankfully completely gone...Thank you, Dr Petrylak..for your superb care and treatment..!!

Dr. Petralak is a very good doctor . He includes his patients in the treatment process. He is very knowledgeable and very open to me asking questions .

When your are told you have cancer, there is no oncologist you would rather have than Dr. P. He is a world recognized expert in prostate cancer and will look at your particular situation and develop a care regime specific to you. He never thinks solely “inside the box” as many doctors do. He is expert on the latest advances. He has a excellent bedside manner and knows you and your history. His treatment regime has, im convinced, provided me with many extra years of quality living
