Dr. Daniel K Raker, PsyD

I seen Dr Raker and the first appointment he raised his voice and lectured me. Accusing me of having fake problems and said I was disrespectful for my lack of eye contact which I’ve struggled with my whole life. Lack of empathy and compassion is a complete understatement. I left the appointment early crying and i am utterly concerned about the well being of his patients. It seems I’m not the only one who’s had problems with Dr Raker. I plead for upper level administration to see his multiple negative reviews and have him resign. Not out of bitterness but again, for the well being of his patients and to eliminate the possibility of someone else having the same experience I did. I haven’t seen a therapist after him out of immense fear that the next one will being half of what he is.

I just walked out of Dr.Rakers office in tears and cut our first appointment together short. I’ve never felt more attacked, more unheard, more judged, more minimized and belittled in my life with any other therapists I’ve seen. This man is not in the right field of work and I urge anyone else to see his other patient reviews on heathgrades.com before going to him. Worst therapy experience of my life!
