Dr. Daniel Jay Resnick, MD

This comment should have been added more than 10 years ago, however, a friend asked about the doctor who did the surgery for my dad and mom and it was Dr. Resnik. Very professional yet friendly. We were lucky that he was the one who performed an excellent surgery on my parents.

My husband had an appointment for a specific date and the office called to confirm the "incorrect "date, even though he had the appointment card to prove the date they gave him. Then the day he arrived, the office person stuck a bill in his face expecting a payment in the office. First of all the bill just arrived a few days prior and the due date was 11 days after the appointment, which we already mailed the day before he arrived to his appointment. The staff is rude and confused for the most part. The payments are sent to "advocate medical group" and we have no control of how long it takes them to send proof of payment to the office.

In 2011, i was 20 at the time, i went to the ER with abdominal pain. Dr. Resnick came to check me, he was with another doctor student, who was doing his residency i am guessing. It didn't bother me because Resnick has a 30 year experience. He said i need to have a femoral hernia repair. I had no insurance so i had to apply for financial aid, which the hospital approved and covered like 90%. They scheduled my surgery in less than a week with him. He is amazing and funny. He made me feel comfortable and i trusted him 100%. The nurses and everyone was just so great and helpful, they made me feel pampered. I basically have no scar at all and no problems after my surgery. Thank you dr. Resnick and General Lutheran hospital, i will be greatfull forever for everything you did!

I had Dr. Resnick when I had to have emergency surgery to have my appendix removed. He eased my worries and assured me that everything would be okay. One year later, there is minimal scarring and no complications.

I was told Dr. Resnick was the best when I needed emergency surgery for a bowel problem.. His team, the staff, and the hospital were the best. I recovered quickly and had no problems. I would recommend him to anyone.

Completely dismissive and insulting towards all his patients and their families. He lacks compassion and is very demeaning towards everyone.

Thank you so much for kind and professionalism that you have showed me. I will never recommend you or your office. This was the worse experience I have had.

Was not happy with this doctor and the surgery I had.

He is very rude gave me the wrong diagnosis. Apposed to a well timed surgery it was a critical surgery. He should not be around people with his degrading attitude.

Horrible bedside manner for an older surgeon.
