Dr. Daniel Joseph Rizzo, DO

I would give him a 0 zero 2/2023 Daughter ended up at Texas Health Plano ER visit needed gallbladder surgery removal. He performed it, saw his NP prior went over procedure. After surgery performed I asked Dr Rizzo how many stones was seen, he said "we don't count them" we will send to pathology. He said surgery went well never mentioned that partial was taken out we were in the impression all was taken out had several family memebers with me and they all recall never mentioning partial left....never recommend him. He was very quick in talking to us after procedure I felt he was in a rush. His office does not see patient with gallbladder problems only veins. He should not be practicing as a surgeon doing these types of surgeries rather only on what his emphasizes "vascular, veins" 1/2024 Our new surgeon was able to to let us know how many were found they day of surgery when he removed what was left of the gallbladder.

Wish I could give him 0 stars... he is very pompous and has no bedside manner. He gave me wrong info. Will not go to him again. I will go to someone who is truly an MD...not just a joke.
