From my initial consultation, to the day of surgery, and through all of the post operative visits he has guided me through this journey with utmost professionalism. Aside from being an outstanding Dr. He is a fine human being who is kind & compassionate. When did you ever hear of a surgeon calling on the weekends to check up & see how you were feeling? I recently had breast surgery with Dr. Daniel Roses at Langone Health. He is by far, the kindest, most competent Doctor I have ever visited. His skill is matched only by his consideration for the emotional well being of his patients. I am most grateful for finding him and I recommend him to anyone who needs breast surgery.

After having undergone 2 breast cancer surgeries and two parathyroidectomies at the hand of Dr Daniel Roses, I can say with confidence from the literal experiences, and comfort in the personal, positive attention I have consistently received, that Dr. Roses has always addressed my health needs and helped steady my emotional concerns via his outstanding surgical abilities, dedicated professionalism and his distinct patient empathy. These qualities are rare to find in one person. His skills and patient outreach, along with his really excellent team of attentive and very capable doctors, is unique and welcome by us patients who are all facing multiple concerns and issues when surgery is required. My first surgery was a double mastectomy in 2007 and my most recent surgery, a second parathyroidectomy, was this fall 2018. While I sure hope I’ve run the course of surgeries, for awhile at least, it is… a good feeling to know to whom I will turn to again if so needed. And, there’s an added side benefit, I know I will always learn something new and interesting from Dr. Roses as well as enjoy some good laughs in the process!

Dr. Roses has been my surgeon for 20 years during which time we battled melanoma. Now, 20 years later, I am still healthy and here to say that if it were not for Dr. Roses and his expertise, I would not be writing this review. Dr. Roses has performed 3 surgeries on me each with an excellent outcome. I now travel from Florida to New York every 6 months to see him. There is no other doctor for me....he is simply the best.

This is my second wholly positive review of Dr. Daniel Roses. I have been a patient of Dr. Roses for thirty years, since I was just out of college and had a benign breast fibrocystic mass removed. Aside from cosmetic surgery, Dr. Roses is literally the only surgeon who has ever operated on me -- three times (I had another benign breast issue a few years ago), including, believe it or not, thyroid and parathyroid surgery exactly one week ago. I had a suspected parathyroid adenoma and incidentally, while being tested for that, a large nodule on my thyroid was found. I had biopsy, numerous sonograms, nuclear scam, and CAT scan as well as molecular and genetic testing. Things did not look good as the results were entirely indeterminate. Frankly, I was sure that I had some form thyroid cancer. Dr. Roses was confident that I didn't and that my nodule had a good chance of being benign. In his words re my self-diagnosis: "Not so fast!" He was 100% correct. I dreaded the surgery: the mere… idea of a surgeon cutting into my neck was beyond terrifying. But Dr. Roses was just amazing: calm, always friendly and funny, and totally reassuring. The surgery went off without a hitch or a complication, the results were completely benign, and it's literally only one week later and I'm feeling fine, am back at work and at the gym. I am so grateful to Dr. Roses, his excellent staff and NYU Langone Medical Center for perfect care from the moment this all began until literally tolday I cannot give a higher recommendation to a surgeon. The best word I'd use to describe Dr. Roses is TOWERING. Thank you again and again.

Today was the 25th anniversary of my mastectomy. Thanks to Dr. Roses' professional expertise and kind and thoughtful manner I had a successful outcome not only at that time but ever since. He is a true partner in my healthcare. I will forever be grateful.

Twelve years ago, today, Dr. Roses performed the surgery that would save my life. He is the reason I am able to write this today. I was 32 years old, terrified, and very, very ill...with a entirely bleak prognosis. Dr. Roses quickly mobilized my oncological team and moved swiftly to make sure that I was in the best care possible. He is one of the most talented surgeons in the field but what I remember most is that he held my hand as I went under for surgery in the OR and was there when I woke up in Recovery. That kind of care and attention is priceless.

Dr Roses did surgery on both my mother and me. He is very knowlegable , thorough and very personable. He helped us through the whole process , reassuring us during our early anxiety and continuing to be genuinely involved and concerned during our successful recoveries. You can trust this doctor.

Dr. Roses is an amazing doctor and an extremely caring and compassionate human being. He saved my best friend's life 12 years ago and when I was diagnosed with breast cancer four months ago, there was no question as to whom I would have perform my surgery. I was in for my initial consult almost immediately and my mastectomy was scheduled for a week and a half later. Dr. Roses understood that I wanted to move as expeditiously as possible and he was extremely sensitive to my anxiety and sense of urgency. His office staff are kind and courteous and Dr. Roses was always prompt for his appointments. They flawlessly handled the scheduling and coordination of numerous appointments for testing and returned my phone calls same day. Four months later and I could not be any happier with my decision.
