Dr. Daniel J Ryan, DDS

Daniel J. Ryan Jr., D.D.S., M.S.
Dan was born in Buffalo, NY and raised nearby in the small town of Alden. After graduating from high school, he attended St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY. In 1996, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. While enrolled at SJFC, Dan was a member of the football team. Dan attended Dental School at the State University of New York at Buffalo where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2000. He was the President of the American Student Dental Association and was inducted into the OKU Dental Society. Dan continued his training at SUNY at Buffalo for his certificate to specialize in Orthodontics and his Masters of Science in 2002.
Dan stays very active within his profession. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Northeast Society of Orthodontics, Vermont Association of Orthodontics, Vermont State Dental Society, and the Champlain Valley Dental Society. Dan has served as the Vice-President and President for …the CVDS organization (2007 and 2008). In 2005, Dr. Ryan became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dan and his wife, Chantal, currently reside in Essex Junction. They moved to Vermont in 2003 to join Champlain Orthodontics. They have two children, Grace and Finn. Both enjoy traveling, camping, and the outdoors. Dan spends much of his leisure time hiking, snowboarding, fly-fishing, and golfing.
